“The Wood Whisperer”
I received this wonderful recipe by Nicole Spagnuolo that she originally debuted on her podcast, “Everyday How-To” which only aired one time. Marc and Nicole keep themselves busy with their podshow, “The Wood Whisperer”.
- 5 – 7 bread slices
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanlla
- 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
- 3 Tablespoons flour (all-purpose)
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon butter (for the pan)
- 1 1/2 cups Honey Bunches of Oats with or without almonds (crushed)
Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, flour and salt.
Dredge bread in the mixture and then coat both sides with the crushed cereal.
Melt butter in pan, and then add bread.
Cook until golden brown.
Serve hot with maple syrup and/or powdered sugar!
